automake1.11 software package provides Tool for generating GNU Standards-compliant Makefiles, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install automake1.11
automake1.11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the automake1.11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep automake1.11 *
You will get with automake1.11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
